Here are links to sites that I think everyone should visit:
Arts & Letters Daily - A frequently updated selection of scholarly essays, articles and book reviews on a wide range of topics.
Guardian Unlimited - My favourite source for world news.
zmag.org - Alternative news from sources that will likely never get a spot on Fox News, or an article in USA Today.
ubuntu.com - If you’re still running Microsoft Windows on your home computer, you should give Ubuntu a shot. Easy to use, easy on the eyes, and absolutely free (it costs nothing, and is open source).
netvibes.com - This is where I start my web browsing experience. Put together your own page pulling in information from dozens of sources, and arrange as you see fit. Keep an eye on the news, sports scores, the weather, your mailbox, and your favourite blogs. I never caught on to the whole ‘portal’ idea until Netvibes perfected it.
reddit.com and digg.com - The most interesting sites on the internet, as chosen by the geek hordes.
